Matrex Mesh Office Chair … Is it Plugged In, Ergonomically?

September 2, 2007 · 1 Comment

The Matrex Mesh Office Chair has plugged in ergonomic design with it’s high end comfort ability. Ergonomics are important in today’s workplace to maintain a healthy body. The very popular Matrex Mesh Chair has many different options and features to choose from for the proper positioning of your office chair. Coming in several models from high back to low back to headrest options, the Matrex chair is not only top in design but can fit to any users preferences.

The Matrex Mesh Office Chair can be found through many different distributors including United States based office furniture sellers like Office Star and large chain retail stores. They can also be found online, at a price usually way below the cost found in most retail places. Many online sellers offer the Matrex model in a couple different models. You can usually find them on eBay and eBay Stores, new and used, and a Froogle online search will usually produce several results for Matrex Mesh Chair.

Some of the different ergonomic features on the Matrex Chairs include adjustable lumbar support, pneumatic seat height adjustment, infinite locking synchro tilt control, height adjustable arms and a heavy duty metal base with casters. Most of these features are key elements to proper positioning and ergonomic design of an office chair.

The synchro tilt control keeps the users feet on the floor offering different degrees of tilt for the back and the seat. This keeps the eye level constant and helps to properly align the back with the feet firmly on the floor. The lumbar support is also necessary for good back positioning and comfort when seated for long periods.

The Matrex Mesh Office Chair is available in fabric or leather options with a mesh back. You can also have your choice of colors from black to gray for upholstery to black or platinum finished aluminum bases to really get that perfect chair for your office environment.

The Mesh Chair design is very popular in the industry with the Herman Miller Aeron and Allsteel’s #19 being widely popular on the high end price tag line. With most of the same features as these high priced models, the Matrex Mesh Chair offers the user a more reasonable pricing scale and this writer thinks, a product that is equally as good.

It’s nice to see that other other ergonomic office chair are being promoted other than the aeron, although it’s a execelent chair it seems that many people think it’s the only one out there, and there are many other excellent ergonomic chair’s out there. My message is check out all the options, don’t just settle for a basic Office chairs or the big known names.
